Flight Training

The PCFC has been working for many months now to re-establish flight training from its Point Cook facility. The club is currently working with the Ballarat Aero Club to conduct flying training under its air operators certificate. The Ballarat Aero Club has submitted the appropriate documentation the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) to have training re-instated at the PCFC. The PCFC has also paid the CASA the necessary fees to have the club inspected for suitability as a training facilitator. The PCFC does not anticipate any difficulty in meeting the CASA requirements however circumstances beyond our control have developed recently that have further delayed our ability to finalise this project. We are currently uncertain as to a start date for flying training from our premises.

The Club will start contacting our student members as soon as we gain the thumbs up from CASA to conduct training operations from the PCFC. In the interim, if you would like to kick off your training at Ballarat then please contact the club and appropriate arrangements will be initiated.
