About Us

The Point Cook Flying Club exists to provide a social venue and facilities for the aviation enthusiast. Whether a licensed pilot, a student pilot or just one with an interest in flying generally, the PCFC endeavours to provide a meeting place for all.

The PCFC is a non-profit organisation whose committee of management are committed to not only the provision of friendly surroundings and facilities for members but also to the promotion of aviation generally and promotion of the Point Cook Airfield precinct as an ideal destination for local, interstate and overseas visitors.

Throughout the year the PCFC provides social events, including flyaways, for it’s members and guests as well as facilities for the qualified or student pilot. Training rooms, computer facilities for study, flight planning or flight simulator programmes are all readily available together with a comprehensive range of aviation related library material.

The precinct that is Point Cook Airfield, located within the RAAF Williams Point Cook base is getting a reputation as Melbourne’s best-kept secret. The range of aviation related activities available to the enthusiast within the confines of this area is probably unsurpassed anywhere else in Australia.

There are a number of organisations operating within this precinct and while PCFC is obviously keen to promote its own services and facilities, will happily share with the visitor information about all of the other great aviation related services provided by others.

Once at the airfield, you have the following attractions at your easily accessible disposal:
